Explore Iceland in your own 4x4 with a rooftop tent or in a comfortable converted van, which you can pick up on the first day of your road trip at our base camp in Reykjavik. Need help choosing? This article compares the two options.

Route book with detailed itinerary

At the start, you'll receive a printed travel booklet with the complete itinerary, day by day, along with practical information and tips from our experts. You don't have to follow this itinerary to the letter, but it's a helpful guide.

Nights at unique campsites

Camping spots are reserved in advance for you. Upon your arrival, you just need to show up and choose your spot. Each campsite has restrooms and shelters.

Camping and cooking gear

Everything you need for camping will be provided from day one of your road trip: pillows, sleeping bags, camping table, chairs, pot and pan, gas stove with canisters, plates, and cups.

Access to the mobile app

A few weeks before departure, you'll receive access to our mobile app. There, you'll find a detailed day-by-day itinerary, an interactive map with the route and all the points of interest, your flight information, a road trip playlist, and a messaging feature to chat with our team on-site and other participants.

Assistance 7 days a week by a French-speaking team

You’ll be warmly welcomed in Reykjavik by our French-speaking team on-site. They are available 7 days a week, through the app chat or by phone, to assist you in case of any issues or to answer your questions.

Can I customize the trip to my liking?

We offer a 7 or 10-day road trip, fully mapped out, so it’s not possible to adjust the duration or itinerary of the trip. However, you are free to follow the route exactly or deviate from it as you wish, and to extend your stay on your own initiative (for example, by staying a few extra days in Iceland after the road trip).

Can I do this road trip alone?

Unfortunately, our road trip is not designed for solo travelers, mainly due to the long distances to cover. We recommend traveling with at least 2 people, and prices are always calculated based on this. It’s possible to go alone, but in that case, the base price is doubled.

What is included in the price?

The basic price includes the following: a fully equipped car, overnight stays at unique locations, a comprehensive roadbook with useful tips and tricks, access to an exclusive app, and support before and during your trip.

What does the travel journal contain?

The travel booklet contains all the necessary information for a successful visit to Iceland.

The complete itinerary is outlined there: you’ll visit the most famous spots in the country, but we’ll also guide you to some hidden gems that aren’t yet on most tourist maps. Daily stops are suggested, and you can choose to follow them or add your own along the way.

You’ll also find a selection of unique places to grab a drink or a meal in the evening.

Is there on-site assistance?

Upon your arrival in Iceland, you are warmly welcome by our French-speaking team, who will give you an explanatory note before your road trip begins.

Throughout the journey, you’ll find useful information in our mobile app, which also includes a messaging feature: you can chat with other participants leaving on the same date, and a team member is available in case of emergency.

What’s the difference with a regular vehicle rental?

With us, the vehicle is just part of the journey. You’ll leave with an itinerary designed by local experts, a complete travel journal, access to an exclusive mobile app, pre-booked camping spots, and French-speaking support before and during your entire stay. We take care of everything for you!
